My other host's sql databases have completely gone down... I checked my cpanel and theres none there?

Looks like im no longer going to be using that host.

By the way...DevDreams is hosted by someone else :)

cape-tek.com is the host which has gone down...well it hasnt actually gone down...just I no longer have any of my databases meaning my forums dont work.

and yeah dd is hosted with vivehosting (http://www.vivehosting.com)

strange, one of the blogs i helped develop also went down because the database went down. could there be a virus hitting web servers floating around?

The databases disappearing and reappearing means that the mysql server went down which only really happens when a host overloads a server. So, they are putting too many websites in there which is making mysql crash.

vivehosting,

if someon signs up for the personal plan, i get 500 mb for $4.99. i want to host 2 domains http://www.a.com and http://www.b.com. however, i don't want to host http://www.b.com as an add-on domain. i want to host it as a full domain with it's own email addresses, stats and cpanel. is that possible?

??? you should just use an addon domain. the domain will get seperate stats, you can set up the seperate email...

not at my current host. in my current host, an add-on domain is simply a different directory where you share the cpanel, stats, emai etc with the main account...

How do you use your own server + sonet7? Doesn't make sense. If you have your own server, why do you still need sonet7's services...

Im going to use my server as storage for major files. And some small sites. But for now, Im using sonet7 because i needed a server fast. And my server still needs to have all of the files wiped off of it. My uncle is stalling, the little devil..

you want him to be able to get only 2 websites on1 reseller, but i knew a site wher eyou could get unlimited for $ 10 :D
