im not very good with seo therefore dont just do what I say however:

1. Have keyword rich content
2. Get link exchanges with your keyword in your link text

Theres is of course more though...

DaBoss is right...

Really the only thing that makes a big difference is inbound links.

I made a post about some good ways to get links here: http://www.seo-dev.co.uk/2004/10/getting-links-for-your-sites.html

I suggest you go for the ad network (I mention it in the post)...

It's the easiest way to hundreds of links without too much effort.

If you have any other Q's, leave a comment, or email me or whatever... :)

I'm considering link-monkeys.com as suggested by SEBasic's article. Any comments or feedback?

Am I right in thinking, all they are going to do, is put your link on 25/50 sites and give you a list of 25/50 links to put on yours?
Can't you just do that yourself?

25-50 links is kinda difficult to find to be honest - USD 10/17 is not that much after all...

True...
And I guess you can always get some links yourslef ASWELL... :)
I say, if you think its a good deal, go for it.
