How can I make a mailing list?

Preferably so it sets up a list of people to mail to, and then you email something and it just forwards it to all of the people on the list or something of the like...

I dont really know how they work....

You can setup mailman ( http://www.list.org/ ) or majordomo ( http://www.greatcircle.com/majordomo/ ) on your server.

if you have cpanel on your host theres built in mailing list programs
you could also try hotscripts.com

Yea, well last time I tried that, it was much harder than it needed to be :)

If you can save the list of the person into a file You can try mach5mailer to send the mailing. I've tryed it and must say that's great. It's like the union-print of word, only for mails.
