Anyone Making Money From Image Hosting?

So I'm curious if anyone is making money from image hosting, and if so, can you give any advice to the rest of us on how you do it?

Are there pay for image hosting sites out there? I only know the free ones, and if there is what do they offer thats different and worth paying for the service?

What I've seen is that many of the free ones will offer that free image hosting up to some limit. Then they offer packages for larger size image hosting. But their are so many unlimited size image hosting sites, that I don't see why people would pay.

My friend started this some time back; an image hosting site only for the good stuff. He makes good money every day from that site now, because once he started getting tons of pictures and lots of members, he started not only selling ad space, but charging to get into the site.

Seems like image hosting can be a good business although there are already some trusted brands so will have a good competition.Looking for more information from experienced guys?
