Who's gotten a free domain so far?

WatchOut won his free domain on 10/29/06. He chose lwky.com as his free domain which was a nice 4 letter domain choice.

Piet won his free domain on 10/29/06. He chose ZTDN.com. Another really nice domain.

I will continue posting the new 4 letter domain drops in the domain section in case you want to select one of these as your reward. 87% of 4 letter ".coms" are now registered and my prediction is that they will be all gone in 3 months time. Their value will only go up from there just like 3 letter ".com's" value went up like crazy as they are all gone.

That's a good question but none of them are in the search business that I know of. With most domain registrars, before you put up your website, the register will have it pointed at that "parking" page that you see there. That is created by Enom in this case. The registrars put these parking pages up because anytime someone clicks on those links on them, they get a few pennies.

Yup, but not in real money, that's forum$, what you earn from posting. For example, if you made 50 new threads, you'd have 100 in forum$ (you can see the amount you have in your profile under your username).

Becuase of our Grand Opening, for the next 100 new registered members though, you will only need 95 Forum$ to earn a domain:

That's a very very good idea. This makes the forum more busy with tons of users. Anyhow, I m trying to get one for now.

To answer your question Papworth, As long as you register before 12/2/06, you will receive a free domain after you earn 90 Forum$. After this date, you will need to earn 100 Forum$ to earn a domain.

Unfortunately I don't have that kind of money. I'm using the free domains as a promotion to bring in some new blood :)

I can't tell you how much I appreciate old-timers like you Daboss, who has the most visited thread on the forum, one of the highest post counts on the forum, and who contributes so much.

When I do make it big, you old-tiimers will be the first to get a free domain :D

Is there a letter specification? Because everyone is going with four letters but I was unsure exactly what that meant. (And congrats to all those happy with their new domains!)
