Yahuh. I hated it when i did my first few. I couldn't find anything, I couldn't do what I wanted to, I just couldn't work the thing out so i played and played then followed 1 tutorial and things fell (slowly) into place. Once I have some copyright info stuff I might post it here.

i dont get it. i've tried cinema 4d, 3ds max, bryce, google sketchup, the other free and really complex one that im too tired to look up its name, and ive never been able to pull of anything so complex.

what the hell am i doing wrong...gah!!

thats been one of my goals to go into digital artistry...but so far its just a dream.

The trick is just to play with it but not to the point of frustration. When frustrated close it off and play with something else :)

Wow, was that design on the left one of your first Bryce designs? That is freaking kool! It looks like the lizard monster from the movie Aliens.
