it will take a lot for everyone that has msn to leave it and go there, personally im not a fan of msn anymore its too big and has too many pointless features, i HATE nudge with a passion (but turned it off) i liked it when it was just simple no bells or whistles without any games etc, but im just boring so i would be tempted to leave msn but i know a lot of people on msn wouldnt

You can use an application like Trillion or GAIM... They allow you to use many services (MSN, AIM, Yahoo, etc, etc) at once.
I have a similar thing for Mac called Adium. I love it. ;)

yea but i only really use msn, all i want i msn from about version 4, nice and simple :)
nevermind eh, google talk does look good if it stays along those lines and keeps to its main use, just a messenger

I don't know much about GAIM or Trillain, but perhaps they lack the latest MSN features...
In which case, it would be exactly what you want. ;)

Ye I think in their next release (if and when they do one) it should support smileys and webcams.

Im still using the older 6.2 vershion of MSn messenger and refuse to upgread to the anoying new one where people keep sending you nudges and the anoying movable images :rog:

i know what you mean. i changed to the newer version not so long ago and its just annoying.

google talk seems very basic though which i like...
