Ok i might know the answer to this already...
but where do you save your index file?lol

what exactly do you mean? if you mean when your saving it onto your hard drive it can go into any folder you like.

but if you mean when you upload it, its a whole different story.

depending on your host the folder layout might be different.

If when you connect via ftp, there are no folders just upload it straight to there.

If there is a folder called 'public_html'm 'public' or 'html' then upload it into that.

index .html should be in the public folder other than that shouldnt be a problem
