I'm sure many of us are on a LAN within our home, if so, do you connect to the internet through your router wirelessly, or with a cable?

I am wireless, but I have to sit outside my door to get a good signal.

I recently bought a router and its a wired router.

I opted for a wired solutions because wireless signals can really suck.

You guys must have thin walls... lol.
If you had a thick brick wall in the way like I do from within my room, you would barley get a signal at all...

I use a linksys WRT54G (http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?prid=508&scid=35) with Samadhi2 and 2 HGA7T High Gain Antennas....My machines have D-Link NICs even the wired....All and all I have three machines on the network and no problemos....

oh and the firmware lets me boost my signal on top of the high gain antennas.....

however it does help that the cordless phone system is 5.4ghz

I did have wired networks in the past but its a pain to string wires up and down floors...

edit-
wifi NICs are D-Link Air Xpert tri mode 802.11a/b/g (http://www.dlink.com/products/?model=DWL-AG520)....very nice card
