Im looking to buy a graphics card so I can run two or more monitors from it.

Basically its a graphics card with two outputs.

Any suggestions?

you don't need a special card - just get a display router - i've seen ones with 4 or 6 usb ports...

Ive never heard of that...
Do you mean one of these: http://www.vpi.us/srvsw-pc-vga-dm.html

Because that is for controlling multiple computers off the same monitor.. not the other way around.

Ive been reading a fair bit about it and have read that there are two ways of doing it:

1) Buy one graphics card which is AGP which has dual monitor outputs on the back. The problem with this is that each monitor has got limitations (e.g. cant play a graphical game in one whilst watching a video on the other...)

2) Buy two seperate graphics cards with just one monitor output. This way two or more monitors can be connected and they can each run their own stuff.

Or of course it could be taken that step further (im thinking about it) and buying two dual output graphics cards for the ability to connect 4 monitors... It would help me out a lot when it comes to my designing and stuff.

If you just want two monitors then get the nvidia 6700 i think it is that has two places to connect monitors :D

but like i said in my post above... if two monitors are using the same graphics card they are limited.

so perhaps it would be better to just get two graphics cards which are seperate...
