This may sound stupid but google is on this forum and has been for the last week or so.

In the admin panel I can view IP addresses and tehres one which keeps on returning. I used this tool to resolve it and i found out that it was actually the google crawler.

so if google is crawling this forum and website, how come the PR is still at 0.

this site is listed on google for deffinate but its not on the first page or anything yet. 3rd i think, lol

lol, "dev dreams"

now before you say anything i know that no ones going to be typing in "dev dreams" but it was only a test to see if my site is actually there.

i havent really tried any other queries yet. i need to find one of those tools which tell you your rank for a specific keyword

First you need a google API.

http://api.google.com

Then go here

http://www.digitalpoint.com

All will make sense in a while

shouldn't take long...

at digital point, click on the "keyword tracker" link.

You will have to create an account.

The tool alows you to type in a set of keywords (the ones you are going for in google), it then gives you a good idea of how well you are doing on the SE's.

The site may be a 0 for everything, but it might be more. who knows?

I just looked at my stats for this site to see how much traffic its getting.

In the list of used keywords this is what i found out:

in google.com type in "visualbasictutorials" without the quotes and dev dreams is number 1, lol

also type in "dhtmltutorials" and dev dreams is number one

type in "sebasic" in and about the 5th result is dev dreams, lmao

That proves that this site is actually in the search engines just not that well known yet. :D

Yeah... But 'Python" is a snake and a programing language... so sites about those come up first... maybe our buddy's on one of the later pages...? lol
