I just took 1st place in all of my keywords in google for dinosig (http://dino.angry-lizard.com) and I use no conventional advertizing.

Also, we've reached over 100 users and by next weekend at the latest, we will have 100,000 signature views.

Just thought I'd share a triumph.

my closest competetor will be pissed when they find this out.

EDIT: well it turns out those guys got themselves banned from google listings probably by using sketchy SEO tricks.

I cannot believe it but I have kept #1 this whole time and am even moving up in other much broader keywords: "forum signature" and "forum signatures"

I guess I'm just happy to see one of my projects work so well (on it's own). It has been a very cool dev experiment. I'm starting to compile some interesting stats in order to break down what colors and patterns people find more appealing. I'll let you know how that pans out.
