Im just curious as to how much you guys know about the hardware side of computers... Heres a couple of question... just to pass the time really...

What is an IDE cable used for?
What is IDE slowly being replaced with?
Does a CPU fan connect direct to the motherboard or to the power pack?
What does "ATX case" mean (not what it stands for!!)?
Is the BIOS stored on the motherboard or CPU?

What is an IDE cable used for? - connecting storage devices
What is IDE slowly being replaced with? SATA
Does a CPU fan connect direct to the motherboard or to the power pack? MB
What does "ATX case" mean (not what it stands for!!)? Casing that comes with ATX power
Is the BIOS stored on the motherboard or CPU? MB
