USB modem cable

I have got aol broadband and going from my computer I have a USB cable going to my modem. Now the connection into the computer is standard USB however the connection into the back of the modem isnt... I cant figure out what its called(if its not just a different type of USB). Any ideas?

The shape of the end of a cable does not define what type of cable it is.
Like the AV/Scart cable coming out of the PS2... It has a weird bit going into the PS2...
