I read this at another forum and just thought Id let you know...

Apparently using filenames such as webmaster_tutorials.php isnt very google friendly because google simply ignores the underscore and puts the words together.

However apparently if you use a dash for example, webmaster-tutorials.php it is google friendly because it doesnt join the words and then classes it as two keywords instead of one...

hmm weird coz when i had my site up before i had a page called game_charts.php and that was about third if you typed in my sites name in google

yes perhaps that worked fine because of a link going to that page. because the link would probably say Game Charts or something therefore thats how it might be there.

But in google there would be a difference between typing "game charts" and "gamecharts"....the "game charts" would show up the game-charts.php page where as "gamecharts" might not.
