    Default index page is a pain in the arse

    every time i go to my index page it keeps opening another browser (window) and i have tried checking the link they are fine but its only been happeing since i joined adhearus.com (ppc like adsesnse.) i got rid of the code for it but it was still the same.

    please help a.s.a.p

    if you mean a link is opening in a new window then its probably the links target. its probably set as _blank

    if a window opens up without clicking on a link then that is probably javascript doing it.

    try my site and click on a link like buy/sell it loads up another window.

    It's not loading into new windows for me. Perhaps you've got some spyware or something?

    well i just sorted it there was _blank in the html near the top of the page.

    how it got there i dont know but its sorted.

    I usually suggest to people that links (on the index page) that go to other sites open in a new window. That way, your site is still open after the visit the other site. I think that's a good practice.

    ^---- I don't know what that has to do with this thread.

    Glad you got rid of that extra _blank. I don't think most users like going to sites where their internal links open new windows.
